In response to the growing number of yacht-based recompression chambers and distant, aggressive SCUBA diving programs in remote locations, Marine Medical International (MMI) and Maritime Health Services (MHS) introduce DiveMed.

DiveMed provides complete medical support and assistance to yachts worldwide in the event of diving and/or hyperbaric accidents. DiveMed physicians are based at MHS, the premier 24-hour yachting telemedical service. DiveMed physicians consult with dive officers upon registry to ensure a complete understanding of the available on board equipment and medical training of the crew.

Additional dive medicine training can be provided by MMI to charter boat crew that may not have a chamber, but nonetheless support a busy diving schedule with clients.
